Overview Join our dynamic security team at TenSeven Security as an Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and dedication will help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a professional setting, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while delivering exceptional customer service. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be vital in preventing incidents and responding effectively to emergencies. Duties Monitor premises through surveillance systems and regular patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Control access points using security protocols and access control systems, verifying identities of visitors and staff Conduct thorough background checks on visitors or contractors as part of security screening procedures Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical incidents, fire alarms, or security threats, following established emergency response procedures Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, disturbances, or accidents for record-keeping and future reference Perform physical security tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary, maintaining a secure environment at all times Assist law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents, providing support and relevant information as needed Skills Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV and other monitoring equipment Background knowledge from military or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and conflict management capabilities Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and emergency response procedures Skilled in manual handling techniques for safe lifting and movement of objects or individuals Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to perform background checks and assess potential risks effectively Proficient in conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to handle tense situations professionally Knowledge of security regulations, compliance standards, and heavy lifting safety protocols Customer service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills to interact positively with the public and team members Join us in creating a secure environment where safety meets service excellence!
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 48.0 per week
