Weekend Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Weekend Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises during weekend hours. There are also opportunities to combine these positions with other openings to achieve a full 40 hour schedule. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive approach and keen attention to detail will help prevent incidents and respond effectively to any emergencies that arise. Responsibilities Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to control access and prevent unauthorized entry Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential threats or suspicious behavior Enforce security policies by conducting patrols, inspections, and loss prevention measures throughout the premises Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to address incidents or investigations Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security logs for reporting purposes Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate disputes Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred Surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV systems and security technology Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining a professional demeanor Knowledge of security protocols, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response procedures Physical fitness to stand, walk, patrol for extended periods, and respond quickly when needed Join us in safeguarding our community by ensuring a safe environment through vigilance, professionalism, and proactive security measures.
