Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.
Responsibilities:
The Security Officer plays a critical role in protecting life and property of all persons on Hillcrest Medical Center premises and patrols hospital buildings and ground to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism. Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings. Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. This position is safety sensitive.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid ARMED Guard CLEET License BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Annual CLEET requalification handgun & shotgun required by a CLEET certified instructor Maintains OC/Pepper Spray certification Upholds Crisis Intervention Training from SAMA - SATORI and obtains certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Job Requirements:
One (1) year relevant experience or appropriate preferred education requirements Experience in healthcare security, corporate security, or law enforcement
