An Armed Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Have a license to carry a weapon ranging from a club to a firearm. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.

Job Description
Provide a safe and secure environment for guests, vendors, and employees of Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB). High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and six (6) months of security experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement, Education, and Training (CLEET) armed security guard license required. Ability to acquire a Cherokee Nation Armed Security Officer license. Working knowledge of firearms and defensive tactics. Working knowledge of surveillance video system and how chain of evidence is maintained. Ability to pass a security approved custody control and weapons training. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
