Job Summary:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Security Supervisor provides direction and prepares work schedules for subordinate Security Officers.
Job Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs, coordinates, and manages Security Officers at assigned sites. Trains, develops, and motivates Security Officers to effectively and efficiently oversee all day-to-day operations of the site and promote the highest standards of efficiency, customer service, and ethics. Ensures consistent implementation of policies and procedures across assigned site(s). Promotes positive employee relations through meetings and develops rapport with internal and external customers. Oversees alarm systems and other surveillance tools. Ensures all equipment is functioning properly. Addresses complaints and resolves issues with site management guidance. Serves as a point of contact between security staff and management. Assists with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Performs other duties, tasks, and services consistent with this position as assigned.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
This position directly oversees Security Officers. Assignments received in broad terms with timelines and objectives set.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Three (3) years of experience in a related field.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to create strong working relationships Strong verbal and written communication Ability to lead, mentor, and coach others Meticulous attention to detail Organizational skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb or balance and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to correct/adjust focus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Possess or obtain an Armed Security License from the State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) within 180 days of hire and maintain throughout employment. Possess or obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of hire and maintain throughout employment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Must meet and maintain periodic background adjudication for law enforcement. Must pass the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI).
