JOB SUMMARY
- Watches for suspicious and irregular behavior at sites, such as security concerns, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.
- Provide Superior Customer Service; A "People Person", enthusiastic and friendly
- Conducts thorough patrols of property
- Engages and educates individuals on client property
- Completes digital standardized reports.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
JOB SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
- Ability to walk and climb stairs.
- Ability to see and hear accurately in both day and nighttime conditions.
- Ability to understand and apply company policies, procedures, concepts and to be able to respond using discretion and interpretive judgment based on general and specific policies.
- Ability to retain knowledge, information, and directions on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to maintain detailed reports and complete them in a timely manner.
- Ability to apply common sense, training while safely handling emergency situations.
- Ability to learn the layout of the site and specific areas assigned.
- Skills in operating portable radio devices and phones.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Free from felony convictions and ability to obtain a DPSST security guard license.
