Position Overview Event Security Staff provide structured, enforcement-based coverage for events to protect guests, staff, and property while maintaining a professional, customer-facing demeanor. They operate as part of a coordinated security team, executing clearly defined tasks and reporting observations, incidents, and concerns to designated site management and Tri-Star Solutions Security Professional Leads at all times. Reporting Structure Reports directly to the on-site Event Management Representative for operational direction during each assignment. Receives tasking, standards, and escalation guidance from Tri-Star Solutions Security Professional Leads assigned to the event. Communicates incidents, safety concerns, and irregular activity promptly and accurately through the chain of command, ensuring all significant events are documented and elevated in accordance with Tri-Star Solutions protocols. Key Responsibilities Maintain a visible, controlled security presence at assigned posts, entrances, and high-traffic areas to deter disruptive, criminal, or unsafe behavior. Conduct access control functions, including ticket and credential verification, bag checks, and screening of guests, vendors, and staff as directed by management and Security Professional Leads. Support crowd management by keeping ingress/egress routes clear, preventing bottlenecks, and assisting with orderly movement of guests throughout the venue. Observe and report suspicious, unsafe, or non-compliant activity, preparing accurate incident notes or reports as required by Tri-Star Solutions standards. Assist in the initial response to disturbances, medical incidents, or emergencies by notifying management and Security Professional Leads, following instructions, and supporting any directed evacuation or containment efforts. Provide professional customer service, including giving directions, answering basic questions, and maintaining a calm, controlled demeanor in high-stress situations. Enforce event rules, venue policies, and Tri-Star Solutions security protocols consistently, referring violations to on-site management and Security Professional Leads for decision and action. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information, internal procedures, and sensitive incidents observed while on assignment. Qualifications and Expectations Demonstrated ability to remain calm, assertive, and professional when dealing with emotional, angry, or unruly individuals. Strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and willingness to follow direction from on-site management and Tri-Star Solutions Security Professional Leads without hesitation. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and readiness to work variable hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules. Professional appearance and adherence to Tri-Star Solutions uniform and grooming standards at all times while on duty. Authority and Conduct Event Security Staff are expected to execute their duties with discipline and integrity, understanding that they represent Tri-Star Solutions' executive-level protective standards at every event. They do not make independent policy decisions; instead, they act as a controlled enforcement presence, carrying out assigned tasks and immediately reporting all material issues to on-site management and Tri-Star Solutions Security Professional Leads for direction and resolution
