Responsibilities Provide building security and monitor access/alarms Perform surveillance using CCTV cameras and other monitoring equipment to detect potential threats or breaches. Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events accurately and promptly. Manage conflict de-escalation techniques when dealing with disruptive individuals or situations while maintaining professionalism and safety. Assist with transportation logistics by coordinating vehicle movements, performing background checks on drivers or contractors, and ensuring safe handling of transported goods or personnel. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is preferred; ongoing training will be provided if necessary. Knowledge of physical security practices including patrolling, incident report writing, heavy lifting, manual handling, and fire safety procedures. Familiarity with access control systems and surveillance technology is essential for effective monitoring. Strong communication skills for customer service interactions and incident management. Ability to perform background checks on personnel or vendors when required for compliance purposes. Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly while managing conflicts professionally.
