Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Event Security professional, where your vigilance and dedication will ensure the safety and smooth operation of a variety of events. In this role, you will be the frontline guardian, responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access points, and providing excellent customer service to attendees and staff alike. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help create memorable experiences for all participants while safeguarding property and people. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those passionate about security and event management. Duties Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to control access and prevent unauthorized entry Conduct thorough inspections of attendees, staff, vendors, and equipment to ensure safety compliance Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by implementing conflict management protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary Enforce event policies and procedures to promote a safe environment for everyone involved Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor movements throughout each shift Skills First aid certification and CPR training to handle medical emergencies confidently Background in law enforcement, military service, or security roles that demonstrate discipline and situational awareness Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively Familiarity with security equipment such as metal detectors, scanners, or other access control tools Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and positive interaction with guests
