This is not a warehouse, parking lot, or warm-body post. You will work in a professional environment where your judgment, communication, reliability, and de-escalation skills are respected.

What You'll Do Maintain a visible, professional presence throughout the school Patrol entrances, hallways, common areas, grounds, and safety hot spots Support visitor management and access-control procedures Identify suspicious behavior and report concerns early Use verbal de-escalation during student, parent, and staff conflicts Build professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries Respond calmly during emergencies and critical incidents Communicate by radio and write clear, factual incident reports Arrive on time, look sharp, stay engaged, and remain consistent Who Will Succeed Here Officers who stay calm when other people are upset Officers who command respect without escalating conflict Officers who take pride in being dependable and professional Officers who notice problems before they become incidents Officers who can work around students without taking behavior personally Officers who understand that school security requires both authority and approachability Officers who want a meaningful assignment with training, structure, and growth potential Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Reliable transportation
