AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces to help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic flow, and report maintenance, environmental, and other security-related concerns. Assist with de-escalation efforts, provide directions and general assistance, and support client policies involving visitors, deliveries, and after-hours activity.
Minimum Requirements:
Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
