Unarmed Security Officer Minimum Qualifications Candidates must: Be at least 18 years of age Have a High School Diploma or GED Have a valid Driver's License or government-issued ID Be able to provide required I-9 employment eligibility documentation Successfully complete a required background check Successfully complete an oral swab drug screening Be able to speak, read, and write English effectively Be physically capable of performing assigned security duties Be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions No Guard Card required for this location. Security experience is preferred, but not required. What You'll Do As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment.

Responsibilities may include:

Maintain a professional and visible security presence Conduct routine foot patrols of assigned areas Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points Control and track access to the property Assist employees, visitors, vendors, and other authorized personnel Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or unusual conditions Follow established security procedures and post orders Respond appropriately to security incidents and requests for assistance Maintain accurate and legible security logs Complete incident reports and other required documentation Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and third parties Maintain professional appearance and conduct throughout the assigned shift What We're Looking For Successful candidates will demonstrate: Reliability and professionalism Strong communication and customer service skills Good judgment and attention to detail Ability to follow established procedures and direction Ability to work independently and as part of a security team Professional and ethical conduct Willingness to learn security procedures and responsibilities Previous security experience is a plus, but we encourage qualified candidates without prior security experience to apply.
