Job Description

As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park. The Senior Security Dispatch Supervisor will oversee and execute the daily operations of the Hershey Entertainment Complex Communications Center while leading the part-time employees within the dispatch group to provide for the safety and security of all guests and employees. Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job): Receive and direct telephone, radio, and data communications while collecting pertinent information and dispatching team members using radio and/or other communication devices. Determine priority, nature, and location of emergency and non-emergency calls and status of team members responding to these calls.
- Supervise and oversee a group of Security Dispatch team members. Ensure each team member has proper training and monitor performance for each shift. Provide coaching, feedback, and training to team members.
- Maintain complete and accurate records, logs, and reports on calls for a variety of services using a computerized logging database.
- Operate a variety of technology systems to include, but not limited to, computers, radio equipment, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Communicate with internal resources and external emergency responders in a calm and professional manner. Provide clear, direct, and precise information to responding personnel.
- Complete and prepare all appropriate daily and special event paperwork to include the use of copy machine, scanner, fax machine, etc.
- Communicate regularly with Security Management regarding operational issues to include team member or guest concerns, losses, and unusual situations.
- Provide recognition and appreciation to team members.
- Perform and complete assigned tasks from management as needed.
