Part Time Pay Rate:
$16.75 / Hour Security Experience Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience (C112). This experience should be documented and verifiable through references or previous employment records. Computer/Tablet Proficiency Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications, email communication, and internet navigation. Valid Driver's License Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). A copy of the driver's license must be submitted as part of the application process.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government residential care location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
