Part-time (hours: 11:30pm to 7:30am) Weekly, every Thursday Rotating Friday and Saturday's Position Overview Founded in 1746, Linden Hall School for Girls is a private girls' boarding and day school in Lancaster County, PA, that is fully dedicated to our mission of preparing young women to learn "not just for school, but for life." Located in the historic town of Lititz, with a diverse student body of girls in grades 6-12 from 28 different countries and 15 states. Linden Hall is committed to hiring, developing, and retaining a diverse, world-class faculty and staff who are among the best in the nation. Linden Hall is currently seeking an Overnight Dorm Parent to join the team and cover the main desk in our dormitory and respond to the emergent needs of our boarding students. Qualifications Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students & staff Valid driver's license and excellent driving record Ability to drive a 9-passenger van if necessary Willingness to learn how to use the existing tech platforms, such as REACH Experience working with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds Experience working in a residential life program Essential Duties Cover the desk and phone in our dormitory Monitor security cameras Administer first aid and/or medications as needed Ability to walk through the dorms when necessary Unarming the alarms in the morning Maintain a safe residential space by following established protocols Transport students as needed Additional Duties Perform duties as assigned by the Head of School or other administrators Required Clearances PA Child Abuse (Act 153) PA State Police (Act 34) FBI Fingerprint (Act 114) Required Trainings Mandated Reporter (Act 126- Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Act) Suicide Prevention (Act 71) Salary Competitive and commensurate with experience This part-time position does not offer full-time benefits such as medical, dental, or retirement.
