Responsible for providing protection to employees, guests and company property. Duties and Responsibilities PEOPLE Patrols and/or inspects assigned areas, constantly on the lookout for undesirable persons. Provides protection for the hotel staff and guests as well as administers first aid and assists guests and employees as required
GUEST EXPERIENCE
Protects guests, employees and their property Makes thorough security patrols of the entire building checking the following: guest room doors, vacant rooms, lighting (halls, exits, fire towers etc.), maids' closets, fire equipment, housekeeping, maintenance, garage, alleyways, basement, lobby, breakfast bar and a one block radius.
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
Is aware of all city, county, state and federal laws and/or ordinances where applicable Responsible for completing a report of security activities for each shift Writes detailed reports regarding incidents of theft, injury, property damage or other matters affecting the company and its customers. a
CCOUNTABILITY
The immediate supervisor for this position is the security manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Prerequisites:
Education:
High school education or G.E.D. certificate
Experience:
Experience as a municipal, state or federal police officer, military policeman or one, (1), year as an industrial security officer. Ability to follow instructions and work amicably with the general public. Must be capable of interviewing people and writing security reports.
Physical:
