As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Coordinator in Pittston, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate:
$19.50 / Hour Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123) Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the company's driving policy. This includes maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to all traffic regulations. Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124) Candidates must hold a valid driver's license specific to the state in which they will be employed. This ensures compliance with local driving laws and regulations. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with security protocols and procedures related to employee access. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes basic software applications, email communication, and data entry skills necessary for job performance. Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should possess relevant customer service experience. This includes effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and customers.Job Schedule:
Day Time Fri 05:30 AM - 12:30 PM Sun 05:00 AM - 12:30PM How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies. Monitor entry and exit points at a retail distribution location; verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery appointments before permitting access. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
