Job Description
Bryce Jordan Center Event/Security Staff - State College, Pa Must be 18 years or older to apply Bryce Jordan Center (Event/Security) Staff will be filling many different roles as security and event staff for the Bryce Jordan Center Events. Bryce Jordan Center hosts several events including concerts, sports, comedy shows, and other family friendly events. Officers/Event Staff will be assigned tasks such as: Ticket Takers Security Checkpoint (Bag Check) Primary and Secondary Screening Access Control Stage Barricade Other Day of event Security and Event Staff Needs. Once on site and geared up for the day they will be expected to answer to their direct supervisor and perform duties as assigned. Officer should be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time and be responsive to emergent needs/direction. A background check will be performed prior to employee paperwork being sent - so a clean background is a MUST. Officers will be required to provide their own uniform pants and shoes (tan/khaki pants/black, comfortable shoes). The company will provide the appropriate red poncho/shirt/jacket(vest). Red polo shirts are suggested to be worn under provided tops. Officers must also have a working smart phone in order to communicate with superiors and clock-in/out.
