Unarmed Security Guard

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. In this role, you will monitor the property, observe for suspicious activity, and uphold a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your proactive presence will help prevent incidents, manage conflicts effectively, and respond swiftly to emergencies. This position offers an opportunity to serve as a vital part of our security team, maintaining peace of mind across our facilities through attentive surveillance and professional conduct. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for security breaches or safety hazards Observe activity using CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to detect unusual behavior or unauthorized access Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, providing assistance and escalating issues as necessary Enforce safety policies and procedures, including conflict management and loss prevention strategies Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations when trained to do so Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly Requirements Proven ability to handle conflict situations with professionalism and tact Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and security protocols Certification or training in first aid, CPR, or law enforcement is highly desirable Experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement, or related fields is a plus Strong observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities Ability to stand, walk, or remain alert for extended periods during shifts Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and the public Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone feels secure! Pay:

$17.00 - $17.50 per hour
