Armed Security Officer (Full-Time)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant full-time Armed Security Officer to join our team at a 55 and older community in Lancaster, SC. In this role, the Armed Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment. Responsibilities include providing a visible presence while maintaining a professional and courteous image, enforcing access control policies, and responding to emergencies in accordance with established protocols. The officer will also write detailed incident reports, collaborate with law enforcement as needed, and ensure compliance with company and site-specific procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Interact with visitors and vendors courteously and professionally. Enforce access control policies, checking identification and credentials as necessary. Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches, following established protocols. Write detailed incident reports, documenting all activities and incidents that occur during your shift and review with management. Conduct scheduled post-inspections and meet with management to assign tasks and clarify responsibilities. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required. Follow company and site-specific security procedures and guidelines.

Pay and Benefits:

K Shift:

Sunday-Tuesday, 6pm-6am Wednesday, 6pm-12am

Experience Requirements/Preferences:

Experience in a security role for a minimum of one year. Experience interacting with clients or customers to address security concerns and ensure satisfaction. Experience preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate documentation. Experience with a handgun preferred.
