Job Description As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed in Mount Pleasant, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and site access procedures while maintaining a courteous, service-oriented presence. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for role Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
