Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Part-Time Armed Security Post to oversee overnight security operations on Fridays and Saturdays. This role is vital in maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and rapid response to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong law enforcement experience, excellent conflict resolution skills, and the ability to operate security equipment such as CCTV systems and surveillance tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to safety while working flexible overnight hours. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the property, ensuring all areas are secure and compliant with safety protocols. Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, conflicts, or emergencies, applying conflict management techniques as needed. Verify identities and authorize access for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors during overnight hours. Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and access records for accountability and reporting purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring external assistance. Experience Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly preferred. Training or certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices. Ability to remain alert during overnight shifts while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
