Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Temporary Part Time Pool Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our residents and visitors. This dynamic role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to any security concerns. Ideal candidates will bring a strong sense of responsibility, excellent conflict management skills, and a passion for maintaining a secure environment. This position offers an engaging opportunity to serve as a frontline protector while gaining valuable experience in security operations. Duties Monitor entrances and exits to authorize authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors, ensuring proper identification and access control Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity around the premises and detect suspicious behavior Perform routine patrols of the facility, including indoor and outdoor areas, to identify potential security risks or hazards Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and maintaining order Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to perform surveillance duties effectively while maintaining high levels of alertness for extended periods Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for long durations as required Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive!
