As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support security-related operations. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with credential checks, entry requirements, and directions as needed. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site-specific protocols. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience. X-Ray screening experience preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Access control/badge experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
