Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor premises, manage conflicts, and respond to emergencies while ensuring compliance with security protocols. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security threats. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing theft or fraudulent activities. Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies. Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies. Requirements Must possess a valid security officer certification or equivalent military training. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable. Proficient in the use of surveillance systems including CCTV technology. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is a plus. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
