Job Description
Job Summary:
Are you an experienced and reliable Security Officer looking for a new and exciting experience? River City Security & Investigations is currently seeking skilled unarmed security officers for Full Time and Part Time work in the Bell Buckle, TN area.Responsibilities include:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, and provide assistance and guidance when needed
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity
- Conduct regular checks of equipment, such as CCTV cameras, to ensure proper functioning
Qualifications:
- 1 year of security experience is preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation and a working phone.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in security-related fields is a plus
- Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and other emergency response procedures
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Understanding of loss prevention techniques and practices
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
