Security personnel with a heart for students and desire to be a strong ambassador in the school will be prioritized. Responsibilities include oversight of campus safety and security needs, directing traffic, and patrolling and monitoring the campus to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the campus during afternoon and evening activities and anytime on duty. The schedule for the position is typically Monday through Friday, 4-8 p.m. with event coverage opportunities outside of the daily schedule. Currey Ingram Academy is a co-ed, college-preparatory day and boarding school (JK-12 for day; 9-12 for boarding) located in beautiful Brentwood, TN. Minimum of a High School diploma Three years of relevant security experience Ability to respond to pressures, deadlines, and changing priorities Dexterity and stamina to perform various jobs (patrol, traffic direction, etc.) for extended periods in adverse weather conditions Maintains a level of physical fitness necessary for swift and effective response to campus emergencies Strong communication skills Experience with technology and security equipment Experience in the safe handling and employment of firearms Must maintain a passing score on the semi-annual firearms qualification course utilized by the school
