Job Description

  • Shift to be filled: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8p-12a.
  • Must have active/valid Armed Guard License
  • Must have valid DL
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide armed security services to ensure the safety and protection of clients, employees, and the premises
  • Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to deter and detect any suspicious activity
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and take appropriate action, including contacting law enforcement if necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations
  • Enforce access control procedures to restrict unauthorized entry
  • Conduct thorough security checks of individuals, vehicles, and packages entering or leaving the premises
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
Skills:
  • Possess a valid CPR certificate and first aid training
  • Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable
  • Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems
  • Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
  • Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, employees, and law enforcement personnel
