Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Clarksville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a high-tech industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support access control, report unusual activity, and use technology to document observations. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a data center location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarms, and surveillance systems; report security-related concerns, equipment issues, and policy violations according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while supporting a professional and service-oriented environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
