As a key member of our team, you will utilize your keen observation skills, conflict management abilities, and security expertise to protect property, assets, and people. Your proactive approach and dedication will ensure a safe atmosphere for all stakeholders. Responsibilities Monitor premises to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify potential security risks or hazards. Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR if necessary, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders. Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism. Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports and logs for future reference and compliance purposes. Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and foster a secure environment. Patrolling all floors and buildings as well as the parking areas. Qualifications Proven ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and composure. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques. Certifications in first aid, CPR, or other emergency response procedures are preferred. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public. Ability to work set hours of 16 or more per week, be on call. You will be filling in for the Full time officer. This is a great gig for those that need extra cash, retired and or only looking for 2 days per week. This is a real job posting, This is an overnight position ONLY. Hours are 8:00 pm - 4:00 am. All interviews will be set at 8:00pm at the site with the site supervisor. We cannot and will not adjust any interview times for anyone. This is an in person interview only, we do not conduct business over the phone. If you're not okay with this, please do not apply. This is a 1099 contractor position, you will be responsible for handling your own taxes per pay check.
