Job Description

Blue Star Security dba Associated Protective Service (APS) is currently seeking Armed and Unarmed Security Officers to provide security and peace of mind to our clients in Nashville and the surrounding communities. We are seeking qualified candidates who possess the following: TN Armed or Unarmed Security License- Required AED/CPR Certified (preferred, not required) Valid TN Driver's License Clean Driving Record (5+ years)
Dallas Law Certified Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a High School diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen and background check to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws. Valid TN Driver's License will be required for all driving positions. Must be available to work evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular security patrols to ensure the safety of the premises and deter unauthorized individuals. Monitor CCTV cameras and respond promptly to any suspicious activities or security breaches. Handle conflicts and disturbances in a professional and calm manner, following established protocols. Provide first aid assistance when needed and ensure the well-being of individuals on the premises. Utilize surveillance techniques to identify potential security risks and take appropriate actions. Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services as needed. Maintain accurate records and reports of security incidents and activities. Stay updated on security best practices and participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Job Types:
Part-time Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour Experience level: Newly licensed and experienced officers welcomed.
Schedule:
We have all shifts available, including overnights, weekends and holidays. Ability to choose your own assignments, based on your availability.
