About the Role As a Construction Security Site Lead (CSSL) , you will serve as the on-site operational leader for security services supporting active construction operations within a data center environment. This position plays a key role in supporting construction security operations by overseeing day-to-day field activities, supervising security personnel, maintaining consistent security standards, and ensuring operational continuity across all shifts. The ideal candidate is an experienced security leader with strong operational judgment, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage personnel in a fast-paced construction and critical infrastructure environment. This individual must be highly visible, accountable, and committed to delivering professional, responsive security services. What You'll Do In this role, you will: Provide daily operational oversight of security services across construction areas and posts. Ensure enforcement of security protocols, post orders, client requirements, and safety standards. Conduct routine site walkthroughs to assess officer performance, PPE compliance, and post coverage. Maintain leadership visibility across all shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Demonstrate flexibility in work hours consistent with a salaried leadership role, including remaining engaged during incidents or client issues until resolution or appropriate handoff. Directly supervise first-line supervisors and provide oversight to officers when necessary. Support staffing, scheduling, payroll review, training, onboarding, equipment management, client engagement, and operational reporting. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You'll Bring To be successful in this role, you should have: Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid Driver's License and ability to qualify for applicable Texas security licensing requirements. Previous supervisory experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related environment. Experience with workforce scheduling, operational leadership, report writing, and personnel management. Ability to work in active construction environments requiring extensive site movement, outdoor exposure, and variable work hours. Successfully pass background check and drug screening. U.S. citizenship (required for Texas security officer licensing). Preferred Qualifications Data center or critical infrastructure security experience. Construction security experience. Contract security or Securitas experience. Staff development, coaching, and mentoring experience. Skills & Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain professional in high-pressure situations. Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and decision-making capabilities. Strong organizational and workforce management skills. Compensation Information Pay Range:
$70,000.00 - $72,000 annually Actual compensation is determined by factors including experience, qualifications, work location, applicable laws, and business needs.
