This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a fast-paced setting, making a tangible difference every day. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to oversee activity and ensure safety protocols are maintained Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents with appropriate procedures including emergency response protocols Write detailed incident reports documenting any unusual activity, security breaches, or accidents for record-keeping and follow-up Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as required to ensure compliance with security policies Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations and maintain order in a professional manner Skills Proven experience in surveillance techniques and physical security measures Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and legal regulations related to security operations Ability to operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), Taser devices, and firearms (for armed officers) safely and responsibly Strong conflict de-escalation and conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with visitors, staff, or clients Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and patrolling over extended periods Familiarity with emergency response procedures including CPR, first aid certification, AED operation, and fire safety protocols Attention to detail in incident report writing and performing background checks in compliance with security regulations Join us as an Armed/Unarmed Security Officer and become a vital part of maintaining a secure environment where safety is always the top priority.
