In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, access control, and emergency response. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to safety will ensure a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Duties Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems and perform regular patrols to identify potential security risks or breaches Control access points by verifying identities and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Conduct thorough background checks on new personnel as part of the onboarding process Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies following established protocols Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities Perform first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals and coordinate emergency response procedures Operate security equipment such as Taser devices, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), firearms (where permitted), and fire extinguishers in accordance with safety regulations Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully and maintain order on-site Skills Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV and access control systems Background in military or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and emergency response capabilities Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors Knowledge of physical security measures including patrolling, heavy lifting, manual handling, and incident report writing Ability to perform background checks accurately and efficiently for new hires or visitors Proficiency in emergency response procedures such as fire safety protocols, AED operation, CPR, and first aid certification Conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively Familiarity with compliance standards related to security regulations and legal requirements Join us if you're passionate about safeguarding people and property!
