Overnight Property Protection Agent

The Property Protection Agent at Hotel ZaZa Austin is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all guests, associates, and visitors. This role embodies ZaZa's commitment to genuine hospitality while ensuring the highest standards of safety and security. The agent serves as a visible, professional presence throughout the property, proactively identifying and mitigating risks while delivering service that is seamless and discreet. Key Responsibilities Patrol all interior and exterior areas of the hotel including lobby, pool, parking garage, guest room floors, restaurants, and event spaces, and all back of house areas. Monitor surveillance systems, access control points, and alarm systems to detect and respond to incidents Respond promptly and professionally to all emergency situations including medical emergencies, fire alarms, and disturbances Identify, document, and report suspicious activity, potential theft, or safety hazards Protect hotel assets, equipment, and guest property Represent Hotel ZaZa's brand values at all times by being approachable, sophisticated, and attentive Greet and assist guests in a warm, professional manner consistent with ZaZa's luxury service standards Assist with crowd management during special events and high-occupancy periods Work collaboratively with Front Desk, Concierge, F&B, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless guest experiences High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Minimum 1 year of security, law enforcement, military, or hospitality experience CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage Free onsite Parking Potential tips/gratuities Hotel and dining discount At Hotel ZaZa, we don t just offer jobs we offer careers that inspire.
