As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Monitoring in Brownsville, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving role requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, parking lots, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns and documenting incidents in accordance with site procedures. Maintain professional communication with store management, employees, shoppers, and responding law enforcement or emergency services personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
