As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess an armed guard card or license. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
