• 5:00 PM Job Overview We are seeking a highly professional and dependable Security Officer to serve in a front desk / security reception role at a professional office environment.

This is a high-visibility position where the officer will remain stationed at the security desk, serving as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and vendors. The role requires a strong balance of security awareness and customer service , along with excellent communication and presentation. Only candidates who demonstrate a polished, professional demeanor in appearance, communication, and conduct will be considered. Key Responsibilities Maintain a professional and attentive presence at the security/front desk Greet and assist tenants, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner Monitor and control access to the building, including visitor check-in procedures Verify identification and issue visitor credentials as required Coordinate with tenants and staff regarding visitor access and deliveries Utilize systems such as Microsoft Teams and Smartsheet for communication and tracking Monitor security systems, including CCTV and access control platforms Respond to incidents, service requests, and security concerns as needed Complete accurate daily activity reports and documentation Follow all site-specific procedures, post orders, and security protocols Minimum Requirements (Strictly Enforced) Minimum 1 year of professional security experience (REQUIRED) Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Must reside within 20 miles of ZIP code 77845 Strong verbal and written communication skills Computer proficiency required , including the ability to use Microsoft Teams and Smartsheet Professional appearance and demeanor at all times Ability to remain attentive and engaged throughout the entire shift Preferred Experience Experience in front desk, concierge, or lobby security roles Experience in corporate or professional office environments Familiarity with visitor management and access control systems Position Highlights Stable Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends) High-visibility, professional office environment Consistent duties with a structured workday Opportunity to work in a polished, team-oriented setting Important Notes This is a stationary, front desk-based role (not a patrol position) Apply Only If Qualified This role is best suited for experienced Security Officers who are confident in both professional customer interaction and security operations .
