Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Security Technician — Working Lead to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of comprehensive security systems across various client sites. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality service delivery while guiding a team of technicians. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a pivotal part of our team, you will drive system design, perform equipment troubleshooting, and support complex security solutions including alarms, access control, CCTV, sensors, and low-voltage electrical systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical projects and contribute to safeguarding client assets through innovative security technology. Responsibilities Lead installation and commissioning of security systems such as alarm & access control systems, CCTV surveillance, sensors, fire alarms, and low-voltage electrical wiring in accordance with schematics and electrical blueprints. Troubleshoot and repair complex security equipment including computer hardware, networked systems, remote access software, and physical security hardware. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately install or modify security infrastructure while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Supervise field service activities ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining high safety standards. Provide technical troubleshooting support for system design issues or operational failures related to IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), surveillance equipment, or low-voltage electrical systems. Mentor and guide junior technicians on proper installation techniques, safety procedures, and system troubleshooting methods. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their security needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician specializing in electrical security system installation and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience working with power tools, hand tools, cabling, and electrical wiring. Familiarity with computer networking concepts, remote access software, surveillance systems (CCTV), alarm & access control systems, sensors, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage electrical systems. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret schematics accurately. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment issues related to security systems and perform repairs efficiently in the field. Knowledge of NEC standards related to low-voltage wiring and electrical safety practices. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client communication. Valid experience in electrical blueprint reading and system design for integrated security solutions. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment safely using power tools or manual handling techniques as needed for installations or repairs. Pay:
