As a Security Officer Unarmed Inspection Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report concerns, assist visitors and tenants, and provide professional communication and customer service. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as directed by established procedures. Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions through accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
