Job Description

Position Summary State Investigations is hiring a dependable, professionally trained Armed Security Patrol Officer to protect the people, property, and assets entrusted to our care. In this role you will patrol assigned sites, deter and respond to threats, and serve as a calm, visible presence that keeps clients and the public safe. We are looking for someone who exercises sound judgment under pressure, communicates clearly, and represents State Investigations with integrity at every post. Key Responsibilities Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, disturbances, and other criminal activity. Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, security threats, medical incidents, and emergency situations, escalating to law enforcement when warranted. Enforce client site rules, access-control procedures, and company security policies to maintain a safe and orderly environment. Monitor surveillance systems, alarm panels, and access points, documenting and reporting suspicious activity. Control access for personnel, visitors, and vehicles; escort individuals and high-value assets as required. Detain or remove trespassers and unauthorized individuals in accordance with the law and company use-of-force policy. Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol records. Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical responders as needed. Conduct routine security assessments of assigned sites and recommend improvements to reduce risk. Maintain and safely handle a firearm and all issued equipment in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
