- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Patrol assigned areas, both on foot and by vehicle, to ensure the safety and security of property and personnel.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct security checks and inspections of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are properly secured.
- Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches to supervisors.
- Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and security patrols.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by visitors, employees, and contractors.
- Provide courteous assistance and directions to visitors and staff.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, or other agencies as required.
- Remain vigilant and alert at all times to ensure a safe environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
- Must pass background checks and meet all licensing requirements.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
