Sunstates Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers in the Port Freeport, Texas area. All days and shifts are available! These positions offer a pay rate of $16.30/hr with weekly pay.

Job Requirements Requirements:

Must have an active Texas Level II Security license in hand. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to write a detailed, professional level report Ability to speak and write in English (multilingual desirable, especially Spanish) Ability to communicate, provide information, and gives directions in a courteous matter to Port Freeport users and visitors Ability to talk in a clear and concise manner on a radio or phone Ability to respond to and take commands during an emergency situation Ability to provide effective access control and maintain a safe and secure environment Ability to provide protection with professionalism Ability to provide a professional level of personal interaction services Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to manually open and close large gates Ability to think clearly and function during stressful situations Ability to stand for long periods of time Work in adverse weather conditions At least 18 years age and if assigned a post that requires driving a vehicle, at least 21 years of age due to vehicle insurance requirements 20/40 vision with or without correction High school diploma or GED Ability to swim (if assigned to marine patrol) A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
