Job Overview:
We are seeking detail-oriented Security Screeners to join our Special Event Team. As a Security Screener, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be punctual and reliable, and have a keen eye for detail.
Duties:
Inspect visitor bags, wagons, strollers, and other permitted items upon entry Follow established screening and security procedures Communicate screening requirements clearly and courteously Address disagreements and conflicts calmly and professionally Remain alert and report suspicious activity or potential security concerns Maintain a clean and organized screening area Follow directions from event supervisors and security management
Requirements:
Valid Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer registration in hand Previous security or screening experience Strong communication and conflict-management skills Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing all accepted shifts Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, public-facing environment Ability to stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Clean and professional appearance and demeanor Ability to follow strict security protocols and supervisor instructions Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize potential security concerns Event Completion Bonuses will be active for this event, in addition to the stated hourly rate. Employees that work one full shift per day for ALL 4 days of the event, will earn a $100 bonus. Employees that work 2 full shifts per day for ALL 4 days of the event, will earn a $200 bonus. Bonuses added to paycheck. This assignment is best suited for security professionals who are dependable, attentive, comfortable interacting with the public, and committed to completing the full four-day event schedule.
