Primary Purpose:
Monitors students by walking the hallways and being present in locations where students congregate. Contacts front office via radio to announce issues that need to be addressed. Notifies the Campus Principal of suspicious activity. Other duties as assigned. ________________________________________
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas educational aide certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Good Communications Skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to work well with youth and adults
Experience:
  • Background in physical security or related work experience preferred ________________________________________
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Campus Security:
  • Monitor students throughout the campus
  • Engage all students while they are in the hallway during class time
  • Write effective incident reports, when requested.
  • Notify Police Officer and/or Campus Principal of suspicious activity
  • Communicate with front office staff and Campus Police via two-way radio
