Katy Texas- Armed Level 3 Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Armed Level 3 Security Officer to join our dynamic security team in Katy, Texas. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment by providing expert security services, surveillance, and conflict management. As an Armed Level 3 Officer, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets through proactive security measures, quick response to incidents, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol designated premises using CCTV systems and physical patrols to ensure safety and security. Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering the facility to prevent unauthorized access and theft. Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations, using first aid or CPR as needed. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incident reports, and security logs accurately and promptly. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure proper procedures are followed. Utilize surveillance equipment effectively to detect suspicious activity and prevent loss prevention issues. Qualifications Must have a valid Texas armed security license at Level 3 or higher with current certification. Must have reliable vehicle with security lights to fulfill patrol duties. Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred. Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies. Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are highly desirable. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while making quick decisions in accordance with legal and safety protocols.
