In this vital role, you will ensure the safety and security of all guests, staff, and property by managing access points with professionalism and confidence. Your proactive presence will foster a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service, creating a positive first impression for everyone entering the premises. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine security expertise with excellent guest relations. Duties Greet and assist guests, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive. Verify identification and access credentials to control entry in accordance with security protocols. Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to observe activity around entrances, exits, and common areas, promptly identifying any suspicious behavior. Conduct routine patrols of the premises to maintain safety, check for hazards, and deter unauthorized access or theft. Respond swiftly to emergencies or conflicts using conflict management skills; coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary. Maintain detailed logs of entries, exits, incidents, and security observations for accountability and reporting purposes. Enforce loss prevention measures by monitoring for theft or vandalism and intervening appropriately when needed. Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR to handle medical emergencies confidently. Knowledge of surveillance technologies such as CCTV systems; experience with loss prevention strategies is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations professionally. Familiarity with security procedures including access control, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response protocols. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor. Additional certifications in law enforcement or security-related disciplines are advantageous.
