Available Help for . Job Summary Tanjore Corporation is seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment at our Laredo, TX facility. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring incoming traffic, registering and validating vehicle license plates, controlling access to the property, and maintaining accurate security records. Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic.
Record and verify vehicle license plate numbers.
Validate incoming vehicles, employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
Maintain accurate vehicle and visitor entry/exit logs.
Monitor facility entrances and restricted areas.
Identify and report suspicious or unauthorized activity.
Follow established security procedures and site-specific post orders.
Respond appropriately to security incidents and notify management or emergency services when necessary.
Maintain a professional and courteous presence when interacting with employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors.
Complete daily activity and incident reports.
Conduct routine security checks of assigned areas.
Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid Texas security guard license/registration as required for the position.
Previous security, access control, or gatehouse experience preferred.
Ability to accurately record license plates and maintain written or electronic logs.
Strong observation and communication skills.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Ability to remain alert for extended periods.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must pass required background screening and meet company/site requirements.
