Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to store employees, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.

Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.

Monitor access points and help maintain orderly movement of personnel, vendors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.

Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.

A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
