Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Customer Service in Midland, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service and communication. This role calls for integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while using innovative tools to support a secure environment.

PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Maintain assigned equipment, complete required reports, and follow applicable armed-post procedures, training, and use-of-force guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
